BUELLTON MEMORIAL FOR AARON ALLEN

A battlefield cross dedicated to the memory of Marine Cpl. Aaron Allen was unveiled on Thursday night in Buellton. The Veterans Day unveiling included a community dinner, and more than 100 people attended. The audience was packed around a flagpole in Buellton, at the base of which the memorial statue now resides. Music, speeches and an official unveiling by Allen’s mother took place shortly after sunset.
