Alisal Cellars will be open on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for that last minute bottle of wine or Champagne. There will be wine and beer tasting, hot coffee drinks, as well as soup, salad and sandwiches. 448 Alisal Road, 686-4329.

Wednesday, December 31
Ring in the New Year at Alisal Cellars. Enjoy classic rock and roll music from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s’ as well as a touch of country from the Omega Band. Admission includes live music, free hor d’ourves offered all night, $5 wine and $3 beer, a complementary glass of Champagne at the countdown to midnight, party favors and noisemakers. Solvang Parks and Rec’s competitive 4x4 Volleyball League begins, no officials and no standings, games held on Wednesdays at Solvang School, cost per team is $100 or sign up as an individual for $20.
