Discovering the Discovery Team

The cyclists become part of the team by receiving an invitation, which according to Tony is becoming tougher with each year. The sport of cycling has become more popular and more competitive. This year’s team currently consists of approximately 30 riders. Although they have not competed in the Tour de France yet, they have participated in many races in several countries. Becoming a member of the Discovery team is not only difficult, but is an honor and a major accomplishment.
